MINCED MEAT MACARONI

Ingredients

  • Macaroni pasta – 300 g
  • Minced meat* – 200 g
  • Garlic – 3-4 cloves (finely chopped)
  • Onion (big) – 1 pc (finely chopped)
  • Tomato paste – 150 g
  • Tomatoes – 4-5 pcs (diced)
  • Cinnamon – 1 tsp
  • Basil (dry) – ½ tsp
  • Oregano (dry) – ½ tsp
  • Water – 500 ml
  • Chicken stock powder – 1 tsp
  • Oil – 15 ml
  • Salt and black pepper – to taste

Directions

Prepare the macaroni pasta. Put it in the multicooker bowl, pour in water and oil. Press the “Menu” button, select the “Grain” program and press the “Start” button. Cook for 8-10 minutes, drain and rinse in cold water. Press the “Cancel” button.

Pour oil into the multicooker bowl. Press the “Menu” button, select the “Stew” program and press the “Start” button. Let the bowl heat for 3 minutes, put in and sauté minced meat with onions until onions are soft (approximately 5 minutes). Add tomatoes, cinnamon, chicken stock, salt, black pepper, 1½ measuring cup of water, basil and oregano to the multicooker bowl and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Then press the “Cancel” button to stop the multicooker. Add the macaroni, stir and keep 2 more minutes with the lid closed.

*In the recipe you may use any type of meat, which fits your likes or diet. According to preferred meat type adjust the cooking time.

Prepare the macaroni pasta, put it in the multicooker bowl, put water and oil, press “Menu” button and select “Pasta” program, press “Start”. Cook for 8-10 minutes, drain and rinse in cold water. Press “Cancel” button.

Put oil in the multicooker bowl, press “Menu” button to select “Multicooker” program. Adjust the cooking temperature to 130°C and cooking time to 1 hour. Let the bowl heat for 3 minutes, put and sauté minced meat with onions until onions are soft (approximately 7 minutes). Add tomatoes, cinnamon, chicken stock, salt, black pepper, 1½ multicup of water, basil and oregano to the multicooker bowl and simmer for 15 minutes. Press “Cancel” button to stop the multicooker. Add the macaroni, stir and keep for 5 minutes more with closed lid.

Pour oil into the multicooker bowl. Select the “Stew” program. By pressing the “Product” button and go to the “Meat” section. Press and hold “Start” button. Let the bowl heat for 3 minutes, put and sauté minced meat and onions until onions are soft (approximately 7 minutes). Add tomatoes, cinnamon, chicken stock, salt, black pepper,  1½ measuring cup of water, basil and oregano to the multicooker bowl and simmer for 15 minutes. Press and hold “Cancel” button. Add the macaroni, stir and keep it for 5 minutes with closed lid.
