POTATO CURRY

Ingredients

  • Ghee – 3 tsp
  • Cumin seeds, turmeric powder – 1 tsp each
  • Fresh coriander – 1 tsp (chop)
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds, cayenne pepper – ½ tsp each
  • Potatoes (medium) – 6 pcs (diced)
  • Water – 2 multi cups
  • Yogurt 
- 1 multi cup
  • Green peas (frozen)
 – 100g

Directions

Put ghee in the multicooker bowl. Press the “Menu” button, select the “Stew” program and press the “Start” button. Let the bowl heat for 3-5 minutes, put cumin, turmeric and coriander, salt, mustard seeds and cayenne pepper. Place potatoes in the multicooker bowl and stir to evenly coat with the ghee. Close the lid and cook for 10 minutes, stirring often. Pour water, mix it and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender. Add the yogurt and peas to the multicooker bowl. Continue to cook for 5-8 minutes more with the lid closed. Press the “Cancel” button to stop multicooker.

Put ghee in the multicooker bowl, press “Menu” to select the “Multicooker” program. Adjust the cooking temperature to 130°C and cooking time to 1 hour. Press “Start”. Let the bowl heat for 3 minutes, put cumin, turmeric and coriander, salt, mustard seeds and cayenne pepper. Place potatoes in the multicooker bowl and stir to evenly coat with the ghee. Close the lid and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring often. Pour water, mix it and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender. Add the yogurt and peas into the multicooker bowl. Continue cooking for 10 minutes more with closed lid. Press “Cancel” button to stop multicooker.

Put ghee in the multicooker bowl, select the “Stew” program. By pressing the “Product” button go to the “Vegetables” section. Press and hold “Start” button. Let the bowl heat for 3 minutes, put cumin, turmeric, coriander, salt, mustard seeds and cayenne pepper. Place potatoes in the multicooker bowl and stir to evenly coat with the ghee. Close the lid and for 10 minutes, stirring often. Pour water, mix it and simmer 20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender. Add the yogurt and peas into the multicooker bowl. Continue cooking for 8 minutes with closed lid. Press and hold “Cancel” button to stop the multicooker.
