BLANQUETTE OF LAMB

Ingredients

  • Meat* (lamb) – 600 g (cut into 3-4 cm cubes)
  • Carrots (medium) -1-2 pcs (cut into large cubes)
  • Potato (medium) – 1-2 pcs (cut into large cubes)
  • Garlic – 4 cloves (finely chopped)
  • Baby onion – 8 pcs (peeled)
  • Bay leaves – 3 pcs
  • Flour – 2 tbsp
  • Black pepper – ½ tsp
  • Chicken stock powder – 1 tsp
  • Fresh сream – 4 tbsp
  • Fresh lemon juice – 2 tbsp
  • Fresh parsley – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Water – 4-5 multi cups
  • Salt – to taste
  • Oil – 15 ml

Directions

Pour oil into the multicooker bowl. Press the “Menu” button, select the “Stew” program and press the “Start” button. Let the bowl heat for 3 minutes, put onion, garlic, bay leaves, flour and meat cubes, sauté a little with closed lid (5-7 minutes). Then open the lid, add 4 measuring cups of water, fresh cream, fresh lemon juice, salt, black pepper and chicken stock, mix it and close the lid. Wait until the meat is tender or cook for 10 minutes. After that put the potato, carrots, mix all and close the lid. After 15-20 minutes open the lid, put the parsley, close the lid and cook 2 minutes more. Press the “Cancel” button.

Put oil in multicooker bowl, press “Menu” button to select “Multicooker” program. Adjust the cooking temperature to 130°C and cooking time to 1 hour, press “Start” button. Let the bowl heat for 3 minutes, put onion, garlic, bay leaves, flour and meat cubes, sauté a little with closed lid (10 minutes), then open the lid, add 5 measuring cups of water, fresh cream, fresh lemon juice, salt, black pepper and chicken stock, mix it and close the lid. Wait until the meat is tender or cook for 20-25 minutes, after that put the potato, carrots, mix all and close the lid. After 20 minutes open the lid, put the parsley, close the lid and cook for 2 minutes more. Press “Cancel” button.

Let the bowl heat for 3 minutes, put onion, garlic, bay leaves, flour and meat cubes, sauté a little with closed lid (10 minutes), then open the lid, add 5 measuring cups of water, fresh cream, fresh lemon juice, salt, black pepper and chicken stock, mix it and close the lid. Wait until the meat is tender or cook for 30 minutes, after that put the potato, carrots, mix all and close the lid. After 15 minutes open the lid, put the parsley, close the lid and cook for 2 minutes more. Press and hold “Cancel” button.
