CHICKEN ADOBO

Ingredients

  • Whole chicken – 1 pc (cut into pieces)
  • Bay leaves – 5 pcs
  • Red onion (big) – 1 pc (cut into 8 wedges)
  • Garlic – 4-5 cloves
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
  • Sugar – 3 tbsp
  • Soy sauce – ¼ multi cup
  • White vinegar – ¼ multi cup
  • Water – ¼ multi cup

Directions

Put chicken, onion, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar and all the condiments in the multicooker bowl. Press the “Menu” button, select the “Stew” program and press the “Start” button. Close the lid and cook for 15 minutes. Then, open the lid, mix, close the lid again and cook until the end of the program.

Optional: chicken adobo can be served with steamed rice.

Put chicken, onion, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar and all the condiments in the multicooker bowl, press “Menu” button, select the “Multicooker” program. Adjust the cooking temperature to 130°C and cooking time to 45 minutes. Press “Start” button. Close the lid, cook for 15 minutes, open the lid, mix, close the lid again and cook until the end of the program.

Optional: chicken adobo can be served with steamed rice.

Press and hold “Start” button. Close the lid, cook for 15 minutes, open the lid, mix, close the lid again and cook until the end of the program.
