ALOO GOBI

Ingredients

  • Oil 
 – 1 tbps
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Garlic
 – 1 tsp (minced)
  • Ginger paste – 1 tsp
  • Potatoes (medium)
 – 2 pcs (peeled and diced)
  • Ground turmeric 
 – ½ tsp
  • Paprika – ½ tsp
  • Cumin powder – 1 tsp
  • Garam masala – ½ tsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Cauliflower 
 – 300 g
  • Fresh cilantro – 1 tsp (chopped)

Directions

Pour oil into the multicooker bowl. Press the “Menu” button, select the “Stew” program and press the “Start” button. Let the bowl heat for 3-5 minutes, stir in the cumin seeds, garlic and ginger paste. Cook for 3-5 minutes until garlic is lightly browned. Add the potatoes. Season with turmeric, paprika, cumin powder, garam masala and salt. Close the lid and continue to cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add the cauliflower and cilantro into the multicooker bowl, stirring occasionally, continue to cook for 10-15 minutes or until potatoes and cauliflower are tender.

Put oil in the multicooker bowl, press “Menu” button to select “Multicooker” program. Adjust the cooking temperature to 130°C and cooking time to 30 minutes. Press “Start” button. Let the bowl heat for 3 minutes, stir in the cumin seeds, garlic and ginger paste. Cook for 2 minutes until garlic is lightly browned. Add the potatoes. Season with turmeric, paprika, cumin powder, garam masala and salt. Close the lid and continue cooking for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add the cauliflower and cilantro into the multicooker bowl, stirring occasionally, continue cooking for 10 minutes or until potatoes and cauliflower are tender.

Put oil in the multicooker bowl, select the “Stew” program. By pressing the “Product” button go to the “Vegetables” section. Press and hold “Start” button. Let the bowl heat for 3 minutes, stir in the cumin seeds, garlic and ginger paste. Cook for 2 minutes until garlic is lightly browned. Add the potatoes. Season with turmeric, paprika, cumin powder, garam masala and salt. Close the lid and continue cooking for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add the cauliflower and cilantro into the multicooker bowl, stirring occasionally, continue cooking for 10 minutes or until potatoes and cauliflower are tender.
